Nonnie and Poppy...

My boys call my parents Nonnie and Poppy. They live 5 hours away, but we typically see them every 2 weeks. It is an arrangement I made with them when I moved here right after having Walker. Most people think we are crazy for travelling the way we do, but it has become a way of life for us. We take turns every other week, and this was their week to come here. This is a little bit of what we've been up to...

Nonnie makes homemade strawberry freezer jam. Connor could live on the stuff. Literally every morning he eats atleast 2 pieces of toast with this jam on it. He ran out of "strawberries" as he calls it on Wed., and I tried to replace it with store bought jam. He HATED it and has been boycotting his toast ever since. When Nonnie got out the jam she brought him this morning he was so happy he started licking the jar. Now THAT is some good jam!
Here are Walker, Poppy, and Connor at a local park on the slide, WEEE!

Nonnie and Walker playing ball in the backyard. He is not afraid to tackle his Nonnie. Good thing she is resiliant.
I thought this picture turned out so sweet. Just a lucky shot my Dad (Poppy) got at the park today.
Here are Poppy and the boys feeding the ducks. These ducks are the whole reason we frequent this park. Walker loves them.

We have played a lot this evening. I've been kicking everyone's behind on the Wii , you believe that don't you? Yeah right! But it has been fun all the same. Hope you are having a great weekend with the people you love!

I am getting geared up for our Super Bowl Party tomorrow night. Any big party plans on your end?
